New cycle beginning April 27th, 2026!
Oregon was the first state to legalize and regulate psilocybin facilitation, and Entheogen Institute has been here since the beginning. Our program is licensed by the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) and approved by Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS), exceeding Oregon's 120-hour requirement with 150 hours of comprehensive, ethics-grounded instruction. Many of our students come from outside of Oregon — some pursue licensure, others are here because the field is expanding and they want training that reflects the highest standards. Wherever you are and wherever this work takes you, we prepare practitioners who are truly ready to enter this profession with confidence.

Practicum fees are set and collected by the service center and vary by location and format. We will help you find a service center that fits your goals, location, and schedule.
Our curriculum is designed to create safe, responsible, and effective facilitators. We weave Internal Family Systems, ethics, and the non-directive approach into every stage of training, so these principles are practiced continuously. This ensures that by the time you graduate, they are part of how you naturally show up with clients.
Our program uses a circular model that allows you to start when you are ready. Instead of waiting months for a new cohort to launch, you can step in at the next available module and move forward with a group of peers.
EI Is proud to host a lineup of incredible guest instructors. These include specialists in neuroscience, trauma, cultural humility, and integration practices. Each instructor brings their own expertise, which adds depth and dimension to your learning experience. Students often tell us that the variety of voices and perspectives was one of the highlights of the training.

Understand the laws and responsibilities that guide facilitation in regulated settings.
Learn how to meet the different “parts” of a client with compassion, while supporting their own process of healing without imposing.
Gain the tools to recognize and safely respond to trauma dynamics that may arise.
Support clients before, during, and long after their sessions so insights can become lasting change.
Explore how natural medicine interacts with the brain and body, and why it can create lasting therapeutic effects.

Develop presence, deep listening, intuition, and practical methods for holding both individual and group sessions.
Build your own resilience and grounding so you can show up fully for others.
Matt Baker, EI Graduate

Facilitation is sacred work. It asks for humility, training, and the willingness to show up with integrity every time. At Entheogen Institute, we take that responsibility seriously, and we prepare our students to do the same. If you feel this is your path, we invite you to begin here.
